Here's what it's like to work with us:
First, we listen.
We invest a significant amount of time before we prepare
a bid. And we do it happily. The more access we can have to you,
your audience, your design/approval team, your internal client;
the deeper our understanding of the problem, the audience, and their
perception of the problem.
We ask: How would you define the problem? How did it get to this
point? What ideas do you have about the solution? What have you
tried in the past? What are your goals and objectives for
this project? How will you know when you've achieved them?
We ask about budgets, timeframes, deliverables, and methods of delivery.
Then we ask more questions.
Is there a true consensus about the definition of the problem
and the desired outcome? We talk about expectations-what's
the optimal method of communication between our firms? Who are the
key contacts? How will this be communicated internally?
We build a relationship.
Whether we're the lowest bidder, the highest, or somewhere in-between,
the people fit is as important as the money fit. We want
to know you, and we want you to know us. Are we people you'd like
working with? Is our firm the best fit for yours? We share our
knowledge with you-our experience with similar companies facing
similar problems. We share our expectations with you.
We believe you're buying a working partnership with us as much
as you're buying a solution. And a working partnership means
we both feel free to actively question-to push, to challenge each
other in pursuit of the most innovative and efficacious solution.
It's a relationship that requires a high amount of trust.
Now we bid the job.
We draft a proposal, outlining the problem, the desired outcomes,
and our best take on the solution. We include a complete budget
and a project calendar. We offer alternatives and point out economies.
We review a draft with you and then we redraft the proposal to include
your comments. NOW you have a document to take back to your team
and your internal client.
Finally, if we get the nod, we present you with a contract that
includes a price guarantee, a deadline guarantee,
and the approved proposal as an attachment. We will deliver exactly
what we promised.
