Ridge Associates built its business by relying on highly-skilled
trainers to deliver the material liveno videos, no fancy technology.
They want their skills to be truly "alive" for the participants.
They also wanted to grow their business. And ultimately, those
two business philosophies were bound to conflict, because in order
to meet their growth goals, they sometimes had to sell their training
product to be delivered by in-house trainers. What, then, about
quality control? How do you maintain the integrity of the product
if you cant be in control of the trainers who are delivering
it?
The answer was to provide a video to give client trainers the tool
they needed to make sure that the demonstrations of the skills were
on the mark every time.
We produced a one-hour video, which has since become one of the
most popular training tools in the Ridge repertoire. Ridge trainers
and Ridge clients both say that this is the best training video
theyve ever used.
We combined actors and real people, but we worked without a script,
so the emotion is right there. Real. Palpable. Workshop participants
get caught up in the moment. They identify with the person on the
video who represents their behavioral style. And they get unique
insights into how others perceive their behavioral styleboth
positively and negatively.
What can we say? Its hugely effective, and it's a crowd pleaser.
